Excitement is in the air as the highly anticipated TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction is set to open to all guests on April 4, 2023, at Magic Kingdom. However, it's not just the ride that has guests buzzing with anticipation. A post-show experience is set to open at the attraction's exit, offering an immersive and exciting opportunity to guests.
During Cast Member previews, a section was blocked off with black curtains at the exit of TRON Lightcycle / Run. The area has been confirmed as the site for the new post-show experience sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The experience promises to be a one-of-a-kind addition to the Magic Kingdom.
While there is no shop space inside the attraction, guests can look forward to purchasing TRON merchandise at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. which is currently closed for remodeling but is expected to reopen soon.
The post-show experience will open at a later date, with no confirmation on when this will be. However, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and D23 Gold members will have a chance to preview the attraction over the next several weeks.
The TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover are both sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, further solidifying their partnership with Disney.
The new post-show experience is sure to add even more excitement to the highly anticipated TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction. With the opening just around the corner, fans are eagerly anticipating what this new experience will bring. Stay tuned for more updates on the opening of the post-show experience.
