SeaWorld Orlando's Seven Seas Food Festival Unleashes Fresh and Flavorful Bites

SeaWorld Orlando's Seven Seas Food Festival has returned, and this year's menu is unlike any other. Designed by Executive Chef Jomar Rios, the festival features 75% new offerings, with a focus on adding "a little more flavor profile" to the mix.

"I don't want you to have the same thing because you get bored," says Rios. "So I wanted to have a little bit of twist, something to try different." This can be seen in dishes like the Moroccan grilled lamb chop sold at the Mediterranean market, which Rios describes as a "mind game." The lamb chop is seasoned with cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves, creating a unique and unexpected flavor experience.

Another example of the festival's focus on details can be seen in the 50-50 flour and corn tortillas used at the Mexican marketplace, which won't be found anywhere else. The festival also introduces new dishes like the maple hog (cinnamon roll with bacon and whiskey maple glaze), crispy Brussels sprouts, burrata and tomato, grilled pork belly, and Guinness beef stew, among others.

For those with a sweet tooth, the festival offers two new desserts: the strawberry shortcake topped with vanilla ice cream and the cannoli from the Italian market. Executive Chef Jomar Rios, a self-described "salty person," highlights these two offerings as must-try treats.

The Seven Seas Food Festival runs on select dates through May 7 and is included with regular SeaWorld Orlando admission. While entry is free, food and beverage purchases are not. With 75% new offerings and a focus on unique and delicious flavors, the Seven Seas Food Festival is a must-visit for any food lover.
